These CUTS ARE REALLY happening this year, barring some serious change in the bills for education funding. The GOVERNOR’S bill DOES NOT come close to the number that will work in order for Ed Graff to not pink slip more that 200 in this district! Other districts including Mat-Su, Juneau and Fairbanks are really in a crisis as well!! If you are interested in spending some time to share your opinion about the cuts to funding in public education, here is something you can do:
Write to or pick up the phone to call these KEY LEGISLATORS this week, because the education bill that the governor proposed is being discussed.

We studied the numbers and feel like $400 for BSA plus 3 years of inflation proofing  (about $125 each year)is what is needed, so we don’t go through this every year!! This reinstates funds lost over last 3 years, where there was no inflation proofing. Ask me ANY QUESTIONS or if you need to dispel rumors please feel free to email or call me!!
