The Anchorage Park Foundation and the Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department are pleased to announce the 8th summer of Youth Employment in Parks (YEP)!
YEP will provide Anchorage teens with a great first job experience. Teens develop leadership and job skills while working on park projects to make Anchorage a great place to Live.Work.Play.
The only requirements for participation in the YEP program are:
1. 16-19 years old by June 1st
2. Resident of the Municipality Of Anchorage
3. Connected to some form of education, high school, home school, GED, etc.
Every teen that applies and meets the basic requirements will be interviewed. Teens are selected on their enthusiasm for the program and willingness to work hard.
