Steller raised $1000 dollars for the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics through three fundraisers: the penny drive, the middle school drama performance When Four Teenagers Elope, and the fashion show musical breakfast during intensives. Thanks for the attendance at these community events that raised money for eight Steller students to jump in icy Goose Lake for Freezin’ for a Reason.
While we are showing appreciation, I’d like to thank Sarah Stevens for teaching the swim intensive the first week and Kid’s Don’t Float for training our kids in the classroom and in the pool. Participation with community outside develops community within our school.
