“Someone” suggested Parent Group donate a theme basket to the auction this year, just like the Advisory Groups all do.  In keeping with the auction theme of Dessert Beach, we came up with the Dessert-a-Month basket.  It contains dessert plates, napkins & placemats for six people, plus the promise of a special dessert serving 6-8 people, to be donated each month by a member of Parent Group, during the 2011-12 school-year. Rochelle has promised to prepare Apfelkuchen in October.  Rebecca Martin is dying to bake Sweet Potato Pie in November.  Wendy Woolf agreed to donate a dessert any month but December.  We need six other parents to help us round out the monthly menu.  Transfer of the pledged puddings can easily take place at Steller—at the monthly scheduled Parent Group meetings, unless other arrangements are made.
