Hi, this is Bill Heubner, Maya’s dad-
I need to borrow a portable generator (with operator, if possible) for an after-school project for the Steller Garden Club. Either that or a really, really long extension cord (mostly kidding about this option)!
During the planting of raspberry garden last week, we had intended to install two raspberry trellises, constructed with 4×4 posts at either end of the 20 foot long garden. I wanted to bury them 3 feet in the ground so that they wouldn’t topple over and, lo and behold, we hit concrete about 7-inches down on both ends of the raspberry garden! What are the chances of that? I borrowed an electric hammer drill to break up the concrete but, since the garden is a large distance from the school, we don’t have a power source. Principal Dale is rightfully concerned about the electrocution potential of a million extension cords plugged together, so it seems that a portable generator is the best option. If you have a portable generator and wouldn’t mind letting me use it one evening after school, or during the day, if that doesn’t work out, please give me a call during the day at 644-3384 or in the evening at 562-3966 and we can discuss this.
Thanks!
Bill Heubner
