The Alaska Government Finance Officers Association annually offers several scholarships to college students preparing for a career in state and local government finances. This year they are offering two $1000 scholarships to full time students and one $1000 scholarship to a full or part-time student. Anyone preparing for a career in public finance, including financial management, risk management, auditing, accounting, cash management, or banking is eligible to apply. Don’t delay, deadline is March 31, 2011.
