As many of you know, our long-standing volunteer webmaster Karen Glavenic is recovering from a lengthy illness and unable to work. Denali Montessori Elementary School has developed ways to stay connected with Karen and ways to help and wanted to share these with the Steller community.

 

Ways to connect: Cards and kind words by email or on Caring Bridge would be wonderful, as Caring Bridge is a way to easily stay updated about Karen (Please note that donations on their website go to Caring Bridge, not to Karen).

Ways to help:  At our companion/feeder school Denali Montssori, students created Heart Pins for Karen and they have donated some of these pins to Steller.  These pins are available for anyone who wants one and are displayed in the Steller main office.  Donations are welcome and a collection jar is on the counter in the office.  Cash or checks to Karen Glavenic only please.  Thanks!
