February 1st will be an Activity Day at Steller Secondary. The focus of the day will be the movie Most Likely to Succeed, which is a documentary film about our education system, that highlights a self-directed school. We are using the film as a way to start a conversation with students about how our program is centered around self-directed learning, and how we can be doing a better job at promotting self-direction and student engagement. The movie will be shown at the Beartooth starting between 10:30 and 11:00 and parents are welcome to join. The student Operation Group is providing some pizza for students, but students are welcome to bring money to buy additional food. Please sign the attached permission slip and have your student bring it to their advisor. The schedule for Wednesday the 1st is as follows:

9:30-10:00 Pre-movie activity in Advisory
10:00 start walking to the Beartooth
10:30-1:00 Pizza and a movie
1:00-2:05 Back at Steller- Reflect, discuss, and brainstorm after the movie
