Alex and Irene Bortnick, former Steller parents (of 15 years) recently led a People to People Student Ambassador Program to Europe. While in Germany on a short home stay, Alex met a 15-year old German boy, Lars Noeske, who is interested to attend an Alaskan school for Fall Semester. His English is very good and his siblings have been on exchanges. His father is a medical doctor, his mother is an English teacher with a PhD in Home Economics and Lars is a dynamite sax player in a school band. Alex and Irene would gladly take him but have no
