Costa Rica Intensive Meeting for Parents and Students: February 11th at 6pm

Students have the opportunity to join Danielle and Ashley on a 10-day trip to Costa Rica during next year’s spring intensive, which begins on February 23rd. Parents and students are invited to an informational meeting Tuesday, February 11th at 6pm in our classroom. Costa Rica is considered to have the highest density of biodiversity in the world. We will explore lush tropical rainforests, geologic wonders like volcanoes and waterfalls, and the stunning Pacific coast. Highlights of the trip include visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest, taking a guided night hike to look for nocturnal animals, rafting through the rainforest, ziplining through the forest canopy, and visiting Mt. Arenal, one of the world’s most active volcanoes. Students do not have to be in Spanish to take this intensive, although there will be opportunities for Spanish students to practice their language skills. The cost of the trip will be approximately $2900, which includes airfare, activity fees, and all meals. Students will be able to register for the trip at the beginning of April. If you cannot attend the meeting but have questions or would like to be added to our trip email list, email Danielle at Sjoden_Danielle@asdk12.org.
