The library is in need of one person to work on Friday mornings, Jan 28 is your starting date, and will alternate every other week after that. Hours are from “8ish” ..whenever you bring your student until 11:30.
Hope this fits into somebody’s schedule. Working in the library is a great job, you can help with school work, or bring your own project to do. The important thing is there is an adult in the room.

In order to open, TOB needs a parent supervisor for EVERY shift! You don’t need to do anything, just sit, sip and exist.
There a three shifts a day: Before school, during lunch, and after school. We can make you a discounted latte, hot chocolate or anything else you want, just for the benefit of your presence.
The shifts are from 7:45-8:20; 11:50-12:30; and 2:10-3:00; Monday-Friday. Even if you don’t know a specific day or time you can show up, please let me know if you’re willing to help!

This Saturday, December 11, 2010, during your holiday shopping, please remember to swing by Barnes and Noble and support your Steller family during the hours of 4 pm to 11 pm! Steller volunteers will be manning the gift wrapping station located at the front of the Northern Lights store, wrapping your purchases free of charge! Tips, of course, will be graciously accepted for Steller charities, clubs, and activities. Barnes and Noble provides the wrapping paper, tape, table, gift cards, and periodic public address announcements free to Steller! Please stop by and show your support this Saturday anytime between 4 – 11 pm at Barnes and Noble!

New Year’s Eve “Fire and Ice†Celebration in Town Square

Volunteers are needed for the upcoming annual New Year’s Eve Celebration in Town Square on December 31 from 5:15 – 7 pm or 6:45 – 8:8:30 pm, or 5:15 – 8:30 pm!
We are in need of volunteers to work in the sales tent selling lighted wands. We need students (and/or families too!) anytime between 5:15-8:30 pm . There will be entertainment, food, and lots of activities for everyone, so bring your family as well! The best part is you’ll be finished in time for the fireworks at 8:30 pm.

Spring Auction
The Spring Auction is being planned by the Parent Group this year with the help of the 9th Graders. We will hold our first meeting this Friday, December 10th at 2pm in Ken’s room.
If you helped with the Auction last spring, please consider attending this first meeting so we can brainstorm. We really need any volunteers who assisted in any way last year to attend this meeting so we can benefit from your experience. Attending this first meeting does not obligate you to stay on the committee.
Auction Closet Cleanup
Next Friday, December 17 at 11:30am, several volunteers have agreed to meet to clean up the Auction materials in the small room next to the library. We will also go through any auction items in Phillips’s closet. We estimate with a group of 4 people, this will take us about 2.5 hours.
