Volunteers Needed for Back to School BBQ
 Set Up – 4 to 5 PM–tables, chairs, (indoor or out), garbage cans & bags
Grill-Meisters – 4:30 to 5:30 PM ish—grilling hotdogs and burgers and veggie burgers starting promptly @ 4:30 PM to get ahead of the hungry masses
Tables  – 5:00 to 6 PM ish—set-up, cleaning and re-organizing as we go and helping people get their side dishes set out in the right places
Runners - 5:00 to 6 PM ish—water and lemonade mix, supplies from the Steller kitchen, help with spills, etc.
Clean Up – 6: to 6:30 PM

BBQ Volunteers Needed
School has begun again and the Steller Parent Group is seeking volunteers to help with the Back to School BBQ Friday evening, August 26.  Volunteer opportunities are available from 4:00-6:30.  Most jobs will only require about an hour of your time.  This is a great way to get some of your volunteer hours in, so please come and pitch in!  We need volunteers to help in the following times and areas:

Planning Meeting Needs Volunteers
Planning Meeting for our Welcome BBQ and All Community Meeting – Students and Parents are invited!
Tue. July 26, at noon in Steller MPR or garden if really beautiful outside)
It’s hard to believe we are already near the end of July and it’s time to begin planning for Fall! Our first event of the year is Steller Welcome BBQ and All Community Meeting set for August 26 from 5-8 pm. Please join us in planning our Steller Fall BBQ and All Community Meeting on July 26 at noon. We will have pizza and salad available for those on their lunch break.
Agenda-point of meeting:
Our planning group will help determine the logistics, activities. invitations, and menu of the BBQ and reach out to others in the Steller community to come and pitch in to make it a great time for all!
We will also determine ways of reaching to new families to help them to feel welcome and ‘oriented’ and think about perhaps offering some sort of ‘mentor’ family matches for those who wish to have one.
