guests school, guest’s student id number, guest’s home phone number.

If these are not completed your guest WILL NOT BE ALLOWED

Parent Group Meeting is this Wednesday, October 10, 6 pm in Ken’s room.    All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Come add your voice to what is happening at Steller!

If you were interested in participating in the California service intensive, but couldn’t afford the fee there is good news!  Steller is offering travel scholarships that could pay for up to half of the trip.  Click the link below to download an application.  Applications are due in the office by October, 15th.  The deposit for the California Intensive is due October 22nd.  You will know whether or not you have received a scholarship before the deposit is due.  Don’t miss out on participating in this excited intensive that offers 30 hours of community service in only 2 weeks!

Steller Travel Scholarship Application[1]

Tons of great ideas came out of the All Community Meeting last week.  Students, parents and staff helped identify some of the exciting possibilities for Steller as a learning and growing community.

Staff, students and parents will follow-up on these ideas and continue to work together through out the year to help them become realities.  Come to Parent Group or Op Group if you are excited about possibilities!

I’m sorry for the late notice, however, Health Services just notified me that the state will provide Trivalent Inactivated Vaccine (TIV). This is an injectable dose of the flu vaccine for those students who cannot have the Flu Mist due to a medical condition. It will be given by parents request only.

Please let me know if your adolescent needs this vaccine.

The Halloween Dance is on Friday (10/12/11). Yearbook staff asks for a donation of certain items:

Cupcakes, Cakes, Cookies

Soda (lots), Otter Pops, Ice

Couple of big coolers (will return)

Also, Yearbook is in need of 10 chaperones total for the dance: 5 chaperones for each shift. First shift is 6:45 pm – 9 pm. Second shift is 8:45 pm – 11 pm.

Please note that it is cheaper to purchase the Yearbook during this quarter. Current price is $55.00. Also, there is no custom personalization allowed by the publisher post December 31st deadline. If students wish to have a name/ special phrase on a cover, icons, or autograph section they must purchase the book this semester.
