Chemistry & Cupcakes!

Seventh grade students, Payton G., Meredith H., and Grace M. showed their enthusiasm for chemistry by creating a Periodic Table of the Elements out of cupcakes!  They shared the cupcakes with classmates and staff on Monday, March 19th.  What a great way to start the 4th quarter after Spring Break!  Thank you for your initiative and enthusiasm for science!

Steller Band

The Steller Band of 14 students entered the ASD Middle School Solo/Ensemble Festival Friday, February 10th as a mixed ensemble.  We received the I (superior) rating, which is the highest.  In addition, Zach Dahlseng, who plays the trumpet with the band, played a solo and he, too, received the superior rating.  I am so proud of my band students’ dedication, commitment, and achievement.
