Thank you to Monica and Dee Dee for organizing the Panda Express Fundraiser last week, thanks to their efforts, and your support we raised about $350 for Steller Parent Group. To learn more about how Steller Parent Group helps make Steller a great place to learn visit here.
We have a number of Requests for Funding to be considered at the March meeting. Everyone in the Steller community is encouraged to attend the meeting and vote.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their logos. Each entry does a wonderful job representing the Steller Spirit. It’s going to be hard to choose just one!
Do you need to clean out some space in your closet? We can help you find new homes for your gently used clothing!
We’re looking for donations of art and/or clothes from the Steller community (think things that will fit Steller students). Anything that doesn’t end up in the market will be donated to non-profits.
To Donate, bring your items to the drop off spots set up in the front office and in Allison’s room.
We are also looking for donations of arts and craft items to be sold at the Market.
For arts and crafts, there will be a survey where you can tell us about the piece and who made it. If you are worried about your donation being damaged, feel free to reach out to us (Jayla, Maia, Ash, Kai, or Allison) so we can collect it ourselves. We can’t wait to see your contributions.
And please mark your calendars to attend the Steller Market and get your hands on great hand crafted pieces from our community, pick up some clothes for your teen, and support this wonderful student-led initiative.
Jayla, Maia, Ash, Kai,

Steller Secondary is a 6-12 grade ASD school of choice offering a unique learning opportunity for students focused on the goal of creating community-minded, life- long learners.
Maximizing new student enrollment is one of the most important things we can do to ensure Steller gets the staffing and resources we need to thrive. No matter what grade your child is in, this will impact their experience.
We need volunteers to help:
As an automatic Member of SPG, all students currently enrolled at the School, their parents/guardians, and current Staff are important participants.
The final draft of the revised SPG Bylaws has been sent to the Principal, Staff, and Op Group.
The committee hopes that all Members will consider the proposed changes and attend the March SPG meeting which will be open for bylaws discussion.
In order to help you understand the process and the changes we have provided both a summary and the draft copy of the full bylaws (see attached)
We encourage all members of our community to take the time to read the changes carefully and encourage you to provide feedback:

Chaperoning a Steller Dance is one of the best ways to see first hand what makes the Steller community so special!
Dances are student led and offer a great opportunity for students to learn leadership skills. Students learn everything from how to use the equipment, decorations, communications, clean up and more.
Support their hard work and sign up to chaperone here.
