AUCTION WEBSITE <–click here!

The Steller Auction is just one month away, and this year is going to be fantastic! We just launched a new website and are sure you will love it.  On the website, you can…

  1. Pre-register and pre-purchase tickets for the event
  2. View auction items as they come in
  3. Pre-bid on silent auctions starting now.
  4. Check your bids and view your statements
  5. Enter donation items of your own

Definitely pre-register, this is going to save everyone time at the event.   And this year, for the first time, you can pre-bid on silent auction items online, it will be a lot of fun.  Also, to submit a donation for the auction,  simply go to the new website and register, then choose DONATE ITEMS from the menu, fill out the online form and bring your donation item into the front office.  No time to enter it online, don’t worry, the auction team will do it for you.  Print out the attached donation form and bring it in to the office with your auction item.  We are looking forward to a great auction event!

Spring Conferences – Oct 24 & 25

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Fall conferences will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 24 and Thursday, Oct 25. These are student led conferences that include the student, parent/guardian(s), and the advisor. The focus for your fall conference will be to check your progress thus far, set goals for the rest of the year, review credit count sheets and progress towards graduation, and address any concerns that students and/or parents might have.

Our goal is to have 100% attendance so all Steller students have the opportunity to show off their strengths and talk about areas they need to improve.

  1. Go to https://apps.asdk12.org/ConferenceScheduling2018/StudentScheduleStartExt.aspx
  2. Choose Steller as the school
  3. Choose 7th grade! (In order to work the system, all conferences are scheduled as 7th graders.)
  4. For Team Name, choose your student’s ADVISOR
  5. Choose the date you wish to come in
  6. Choose your time and continue through the process.
  7. You can sign up to receive a reminder email.
If you need to cancel your appointment time, you will have to email your adviser. Thank you and see you soon!

conference half days

This is a friendly reminder to make arrangements for next week. Steller students will have a half day Wednesday, October 24th and Thursday, October 25th. Class will let out at 11:30am on those two days and students need to be off school grounds by 11:45am.

Students are only to be in the building during their conference time and with their parent/guardian.

DEA National Drug Take Back Campaign – Oct 27

Hello Steller Community,

It is time for DEA’s National Drug Take Back –
Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Most abused prescription drugs come from family and friends. You could be a drug dealer and not even now it.

  • Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue, leading to accidental poisoning, overdose, and abuse.
  • Pharmaceutical drugs can be just as dangerous as street drugs when taken without a prescription of a doctor’s supervision.
  • The non-medical use of prescription drugs ranks second only to marijuana as the most common form of drug abuse in America.
  • The majority of teenagers abusing prescription drugs get them from family and friends – and the home medicine cabinet.
  • Unused prescription drugs thrown in the trash can be retrieved and abused or illegally sold. Unused drugs that are flushed contaminate the water supply.
  • Take-back programs are the best way to dispose of old drugs. But if a program is not available:
    • Take the meds out of their bottles;
    • Mix them with something unappealing like used kitty litter or coffee grounds;
    • Seal them in a bag or disposable container, and throw that away.
  • For more information on prescription drug abuse, go to:

Be safe and not sorry, have a great week.
