College Fair ~ Monday, October 14th

Steller is going to the College Fair Monday October 14. The field trip is open for juniors and seniors and we have seats for 54 students on the bus. Students can sign up in the front office with Tami. Permission slips are required.
The bus will leave Steller at 9 am and return from the Alaska Airlines Center at 11 am.
This is a great opportunity to learn about a variety of colleges and what they have to offer. Students are encouraged to make a list of questions before they leave. Here is a link to one of many online resources on how to prepare for the college fair:

• The flu vaccine may make your illness milder if you do get sick.

• F l u vaccination can reduce the risk of more serious flu outcomes, like hospitalizations. The CDC recommends everyone get a flu shot each year.

Quadrivalent (designed to protect against two influenza A and two influenza B viruses).

VACCINE INFO

No latex or thimerosal.

The “high dose” flu vaccine (for people 65 and older) will be available at this event.

It takes approximately 2 weeks to build up immunity after getting a flu shot.
