March 8, 6:30 Parent Meeting for Florida Keys December 2016 trip

There will be a parent meeting for students interested in going to the Florida Keys to study Marine Biology in December 2016. We will spend our intensive in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary where daily activities will include snorkeling coral reefs, daily field trips in boats, lab sessions , as well as visiting different marine habitats including the Everglades National Park.

The meeting will held March 8th, at 6:30 in Mikes room. The cost of the trip is $2900.

Third Quarter Grades

Due to Intensives taking place at the end of the school year, 3rd Quarter will end Friday of this week. For all parents of students that are taking Quarter Credit classes, please take a moment to look at your son or daughters’ grade in Zangle on Monday, February 29th. This grade will be their Final 3rd Quarter Grade.  Current grades will show in Zangle under Assignments but will not be posted in Mark Reporting until March 24th when grades are officially posted.

Please note that the majority of middle school classes are quarter credits and the majority of high school classes are semester credits. If your middle school student is taking a Spanish or Algebra 1 or above math class, these are semester based classes and visible grades are NOT final.

NO Souper Steller this week 2/26

This is a friendly reminder that there is NO Souper Steller this week 2/26.

Next week, Rosa’s Healthy Cooking Class will be designing the menu and doing all the prep work, with Alyse!

WE NEED PARENT HELPERS SIGNED UP BY THIS FRIDAY or we will have to CANCEL Souper Steller next week, 3/4!

IMPORTANT!!! By this Friday, we need to line up at least 2 parents (who can make it for sure) sign up to help for the baking, cooking, set-up and cleaning for next week. Alyse will be leaving during lunch (to travel out of state) and it is too unpredictable to not have people signed up in advance. There will be instructions and no experience is necessary. Please email alyse.galvin@gmail.com to sign up if you can help! Thanks!
