Souper Steller is back, starting this week!

Remember to bring your bowls this Friday, because we will be serving our chicken tortilla soup, and our potato leek soup!

There will be a 2pm to 4pm prep on Thursday, and a 9am to 12:45pm set-up, serve, and cleanup. We need at least 2 parent volunteers for each of these times!

Iceland announcement

There are three spots left on the Iceland intensive in May! Come see geysers, waterfalls, volcanoes, and more! Iceland powers much of the island with geothermal energy and we get to tour a geothermal plant. Come learn how the future of energy will be impacted. Or come to eat different food! Don’t delay. Iceland – Scholarship Forms are due Today!

Iceland Travel Scholarship Form are due. Forms can be picked up and turned in to the office, but they are due ThursdaySeptember 7.

You still have 9 days to register for Iceland! Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity. Spots are filling up. This intensive is open to ALL grades. Come talk to Jason or Leigh Anne if you have any questions.

Back to school night – Thursday, September 21st from 6-8pm

The schedule will be as follows:
6:00 – 6:15 – Parents meet in Advisories, schedules are handed out
6:15 – 6:23 – P.1 (2 minute passing)
6:25 – 6:33 – P.2 (2 minute passing)
6:35 – 6:43 – P.3 (2 minute passing)
6:45 – 6:53 – P.4 (2 minute passing)
6:55 – 7:03 – P.5 (2 minute passing)
7:05 – 7:13 – P.6 (2 minute passing)
7:15 – 7:25 – Parents meet with IS class teachers and any classes they missed
7:30 – 8:00 – Parent group meeting in the MPR

Iceland Scholarships available!

If you are interested in going to Iceland and want to apply for a scholarship, the form needs to be turned in by Thursday, September 7. That is next Thursday!! It is very soon, but open registration for Iceland ends on September 15, and decisions on scholarships need to be made before then. So, stop in the office or come see Jason to pick up a scholarship form. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by
