This year Steller is participating in a cultural exchange program with Nelson Island School in Toksook Bay. Five students, along with Leigh Anne, will be chosen to be cultural ambassadors and will spend a week traveling to Toksook and a week hosting students from that school. These students will complete pre-travel activities, travel from March 17th-24th, and then host students from the school when they travel to Anchorage during the first week in May. Any student can apply to this program and there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday at lunch right at 11:45 in Leigh Anne’s room. Applications are due on January 6th to Leigh Anne.
