The Anchorage Youth Court offers middle and high school students the opportunity to serve as attorneys and judges for real juvenile misdemeanor cases, after taking a law course and passing the AYC Bar Exam. AYC classes are taught on a volunteer-basis by local attorneys in the spring, summer and fall. Registration for spring courses is now open. Classes are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 7, 14 and 21 at West High School. The AYC Bar Exam is April 28. Register on AYC’s website.
