Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time at the Ice Cream Social. Although the focus is on prospective students, I couldn’t help but see it as a celebration of our amazing Steller students (and parents!). As a teacher, it’s a privilege to work with students who are not only willing to give up an evening to help out at school but who do so with enthusiasm. Their passion for learning and sense of community was evident in listening to them speak to prospective students and parents. This event was a good reminder of how independent, responsible, and thoughtful our students are and of how important it is to acknowledge and celebrate that.
