News from Nurse Annette – Save a Life!

Hello Steller Community,

Next week at Ted Stevens International Airport (North Terminal), Alaska Regional Hospital, the Airport Police and Fire are working together to provide free hands-only CPR training classes! According to the American Heart Association, the vast majority of cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital. 70% occur at home and nearly 20% occur in public places like an airport or sporting facility. Administering immediate CPR can double or even triple a person’s chance of survival. The life you save is likely to be someone close to you! Take a Moment…Save a Life
