Free CPR Training

With the new approach to learning CPR, people with no healthcare background can learn how to save a life in 40 minutes!

Alaska Regional Hospital, Anchorage Fire Department Loren Marshall Foundation, and UAA Fire and Emergency Services Program have planned a MASS CPR Training for the citizens of Anchorage on Saturday, April 25th to get as many folks in our community trained as possible – their goal is 300 people in one day!

They will be teaching CPR Anytime every hour, on the hour from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the UAA Commons off of Elmore St.  This class provides citizens with the basics of CPR.  Additional training would be required at a later date to receive a certification card.

Please consider challenging your family, your bowling team, or maybe your church group to meet and learn CPR together. Brochures attached with more info and directions.

There is no cost and no pre-registration needed.

Everyone trained will also go home with an instructional kit including a DVD to share.

If you plan to run/walk the Heart Run you can also plan to stop by when you are finished.  They are right down the street!
