Students To Learn Leadership – Spring Break

pyli-logoThe 19th annual Alaska Points of Light Youth Leadership Institute will hold community leadership training March 14-18 for interested middle and high school students age 13-18 at the Anchorage Salvation Army Corps Community Center. Each day from 9:00 – 5:00 p.m. students will learn creative leadership skills and tools in teamwork, decision making, goal setting, community problem solving, creative thinking, volunteerism, service learning, public speaking and other important skills to be successful at school, in jobs and careers, in community activities, in college and in life.

Sponsored by Jack White Real Estate and Friends of Alaska PYLI, including lead partners Salvation Army and UAA TRiO, and open to all students who apply by February 29 with a $100 registration fee to reserve a spot in the training.
