It’s Banned Books Week, a time to celebrate the freedom to read and to promote awareness of attempts to remove books from libraries and schools. Everyone is invited to the Banned Books Read-In this Wednesday the 25th at 5:30 pm in the Wilda Marston Theatre at the Loussac Library. Come support Steller readers and hear teens and adults exercise their rights as they read from a selection of books that have been banned or challenged—some even right here in Alaska!
