Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program for Students 6th-9th Grade

imagesThe Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program (ANSEP) is now accepting applications for the new 2013 ANSEP STEM Career Explorations! This opportunity is exclusively available to past Middle School Academy participants who have yet to enter high school (students who will enter 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade in fall of 2013). Accepted students attend this program free of charge.

This is an exciting and new opportunity! Your continued work with ANSEP will give you an excellent head start to college life, courses, and a professional career.  ANSEP will provide activities, supervision, housing, meals, teambuilding activities, and more. The ANSEP STEM Career Explorations will run from May 28th – June 1st 2013. Please be aware that all participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from UAA.

Please see the attached application for more information and the full application process. Complete applications need to be received by April 26, 2013.

If you are unable to apply we do ask that you still send an updated official transcript at the end of this school year to meet the requirements of your past Middle School Academy participation and computer contract.

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me at JosephineM@uaa.alaska.edu or (907) 786-1866.
